Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell reveal that they are expecting a girl

How exciting!

Animal conservationist Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell announced last month that they are expecting their first child. The couple married earlier this year. Bindi and Chandler have since revealed through an adorable Instagram post that they will soon welcome a baby girl into the world and we couldn't be more delighted for them. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFb_F12BFIT/ Bindi posted a gorgeous photograph of herself and Chandler, along with an Aldabra tortoise and their sonogram photo along with the following caption;

"Baby girl, you are our world. Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year."

A well known TV personality in her own right now, Bindi first appeared on TV alongside her dad Steve Irwin, also known as the Crocodile Hunter. Steve sadly passed away at the age of only 44 in 2006. Thousands of friends, family and fans rushed to leave congratulatory messages for the expectant parents including Bindi's brother Robert who wrote;

"I can’t wait to meet my niece!"

Chandler also commented underneath Bindi's post saying;

"I love you and our daughter more than anything."

Our hearts can't actually cope, so sweet.
