These parents had a very unique way of encouraging their children to wash

Parents of young children can sometimes find themselves with a battle on their hands when it comes to bath time. But this mum and dad came up with a very unique way of making sure that their son and daughter kept clean. The now teenage daughter revealed on Reddit that back in the 90s her parents used to tell her and her brother that they had another brother who turned into a mushroom because he didn't take a bath. They even added pictures of him to the family album. She posted photos of the album via imgur, which show pictures of a black and white mushroom that her parents had printed out in a bid to get their children to wash.   "In memory of my long lost brother."   It was effective too. The daughter commented, "Hey it worked when trying to get us to take a bath!" She also jokes, "Looking at it now I realise how much I look like my mushroom older brother in that picture." At least she can joke about it. And at least it worked. Maybe one for all the parents who feel like they have exhausted every other trick under the sun when to comes to keeping their kids clean?
