Dad draws cartoon for his family every day for 5 years

This will make you melt.

There are the lads who film everything their girlfriends do and post them online to mortify them, and then there's this. Pete Duffield is an artist from Brighton in the UK who documents his life with his girlfriend Kellie and their two-year-old daughter Poppy in adorable (and hilarious) cartoons that he posts to his Instagram.

“I started keeping a list of ideas on my phone whenever something funny happened,” he told the Huffington Post. “The collection of drawings gradually grew and it was fun to document silly things we’d say or do.”

And while his cartoons now delight thousands of Instagram followers, Pete says they're still intended for the original people. “I still make the illustrations for Kellie  ― and Poppy now, for when she is older and can look back on them."
