Two-year-old dies after being found on front porch of home

According to reports, the little girl was 'frozen'.

A toddler found on the front porch of her home on Friday has passed away. Fox News reports that the two-year-old was found on the porch of her Ohio home by her mother who called 911. The woman was given instructions on how to give mouth to mouth resuscitation to her daughter which she did until emergency services arrived. The little girl was then brought to Akron Children's Hospital in northeast Ohio. Local newspaper The Akron Beacon Journal reports that she passed away later that day.

The cause of death has not yet been established but it's believed that the toddler suffered severe hypothermia. The local news outlet reports that the child's mother had left the family home earlier that day with her four-year-old son. Reports say the little girl was at home with her father at the time but this has not yet been confirmed.
