The woman's husband even sided with his mother, which really hurt her."She just wanted to be there for support and get the opportunity to see her grandbaby's first moments."
"I just stared at her and said, "it's alright, you can have the opportunity to be in the delivery room when it's your son who's giving birth."
The mother-in-law stormed off and the couple quickly left, but not before having a huge argument on the way home.
The woman said her husband "lost it" at her in the car.
She explained to him that she was frustrated and didn't mean what she said. He argued that if she doesn't want to deal with this drama then she should've just said yes to his mother.
Her husband then said if his mom isn't allowed in there then he won't be there too.
The mum-to-be was understandably fuming. It's her body, her birth, and her baby. She's the one who will be enduring the pain and the one who should decide who gets to be there when her son is born.
What would you do if you were this mum-to-be?
