Prince William and Prince Harry speak about Diana as a mother

A new documentary is due to air on ITV about Princess Diana's life.

As part of it, for the first time, Prince William and Prince Harry will sit down and talk about what Diana was like as a mother. A teaser for the show has been released which shows William describing her as very informal and how she understood there was life outside the Palace. He said:

"She was very informal and really enjoyed the laughter and the fun. But she understood that there was a real life outside of Palace walls."

While Harry adds, "She was the best mum in the world... she was one of the naughtiest parents... She smothered us with love, that's for sure."

Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy marks the 20th anniversary of Diana's death and will be on ITV in July.
