A young mum has sadly died after she was reportedly shot by accident in Finglas on Saturday evening.
Gardaí believes 36-year-old Sandra Boyd was shot when trying to disarm a man known to her.
Investigating Gardaí are following a "definite line of inquiry".
Sandra was shot dead at a house party, in front of multiple members of her family.
The shooting took place at 8.40 pm at a house in the Collins Place area on March 19th.
Gardaí want to speak to everyone who attended the party but are particularly interested in speaking with one man.
Sandra's sister Megan penned a moving tribute to her sister.
She wrote, "Sisters are forever, but mine was taken right before our eyes.
“Sandra Boyd you are my big sister that I adored every piece of you," she continued on Facebook.
“If I knew my goodbye in the airport was forever I would of never let you go," she added.
They have asked witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.
A spokesperson said they are interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed the fatal shooting.
Witnesses have been asked to come forward immediately.
They're also looking to speak to drivers who were in the area between 8 and 9 pm on March 19th.
They're particularly interested in drivers who were around Collins Park, Ballygall Road West areas.
Anyone with video footage should come forward.
