Boris Johnson reveals unusual name for eighth child

Boris Johnson has announced the birth of his eighth child, and third with wife Carrie.

Welcoming a son who was born on July 5th, this is the former Prime Minister's first child since he stepped down from the position. While many were congratulating the couple, a lot of people were thrown off by the name they chose – Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Carrie announced the news, writing: "A week of Frankie. Welcome to the world Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson born 5th July at 9.15am. (Can you guess which name my husband chose?!) "Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble. Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten. The couple welcomed their first child together, Wilfred, on 29 April 2020 and their daughter Romy on 9 December 2021. Boris is also father to four adult children with his second wife Marina Wheeler as well as another daughter from an affair.
