Cindy Crawford has just responded to her friend Amal’s baby news in the cutest possible way

Last week it was Matt Damon speaking about how delighted he is that the world finally knows about George and Amal's baby news. And now Amal's good friend Cindy Crawford has spoken about also feeling relieved the news is out. The supermodel, who spoke out about the happy news while on a promotional engagement in Sydney over the weekend, told The Today Show: "Oh, so it's actually been confirmed? Thank heavens! I had to keep that in for months." The 50-year-old(!) and her husband Rande Gerber are of course good friends of the Clooneys, and were seen celebrating with the happy couple at their 2014 Italian wedding.

Later on, in an interview with Today Extra, Crawford, who herself is a mum of two, was asked if she has any parenting advice to share with George and Amal.

"My mother's best advice to us was 'don't give advice unless someone asks for it,'" she said. "I would never volunteer advice. If someone asks me I would tell them, but I'm not the person just like, 'Oh here's what you should do.' I guess my only advice would be to enjoy it. Because, as you know, because you have a little one, it goes like that."
