We binge-watched season 2 of Bridgerton the moment it was released and now we deeply regret it. We're missing the regency drama more than ever, but it looks like we'll be waiting quite some time for new episodes. Netflix confirmed there will be a season 3 and 4, but they won't be airing soon. Nicola Coughlan and the Bridgerton cast officially started filming in the month. However, we could be waiting until next summer to watch season 3. The cast and crew could be working on season 3 for months. It took 10 months to wrap on season 2 so we best be patient. However, season 2 was filmed in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic so hopefully, season 3 won't take as long. Fans believe we could have a brand new season by next spring. That's not so far away, right? The plot for season 3 has yet to be confirmed, but fans of the books believe it could center around Benedict Bridgerton. And we honestly love the sound of his potential storyline. In the books, Benedict falls in love with a mystery woman at a ball, but she vanishes before he even gets her name. He believes she is the one and vows to find her. But Benedict quickly finds his head is turned by a new maid working for his family. The Cinderella-inspired story sounds like our cuppa tea.
