A baby was born outside the Rotunda hospital

A little baby who 'wasn't going to wait' ended up being delivered outside the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin yesterday. Dublin Fire Brigade shared the news on Twitter explaining that the baby was born outside in an ambulance outside the hospital with the assistance of medical staff. There wasn't even enough time for the mother to get into the hospital, with midwives and paramedics delivering the baby in the ambulance. Thankfully, the baby was delivered safely. In the tweet they said:

"This morning a very eager healthy baby was born in one of our ambulances outside the Rotunda. Delivery was assisted by paramedics and midwives who came out to ambulance after baby decided it wasn't going wait! Congratulations."
