CHEAP & CHIC: These crafty seashell candles make a glam gift

Whether you picked them up on an exotic beach or you still have some since the Eighties (when everyone used them as ashtrays), it's quite likely you have a seashell or two lying around the house in some forgotten corner. We were quite content to let them gather dust until we watched this simple tutorial, which showed us how to transform the humble seashell into a glam gift any houseproud gal would be thrilled to receive. First there's a quick spritz with a gold paint... Then you glue a wick to the base, fill with molten candle wax and allow to set. Simples!
