— M.J. Mouton (@MJ_Mouton) September 23, 2018Speaking to KPLC News one of the parents said;
“Kids should be kids, sure, some middle school kids are going to have boyfriends and girlfriends and crushes, but I don’t think we need the school to play matchmaker for a 10 to 14-year-old.”When challenged about their choice the school responded that it did not have time to change the theme for the dress up week once it was realised.
— M.J. Mouton (@MJ_Mouton) September 24, 2018Personally I can't see how a change couldn't be made but to be honest I don't even know how this came up as a suggestion for the dress up week anyway. Why would anyone in charge of school events for pre-teens think that something used as an adult dating game would be appropriate for children as young as ten? Hopefully they think long and hard before they organise their next event.
